Trouble on the roof

Trouble, our cat, somehow has figured out how to get on the roof. The first time Craig got scratched a bit as he helped the dumb cat down. The second time, we left him up there. He spent several hours up on the roof. When I noticed him down, he was covered in dust and had some dirty elbows. I'm not sure how he got down, but I haven't seen him up there since. I wasn't too upset though because a woodpecker has decided to drill in the singles. Hopefully the bird has decided the roof is not safe any longer.

Boaz channeling his inner Superman

He loves this red bandana. When he sees it, it becomes his cape and he runs around the house in make-believe heaven.

Oregon Swallowtail Butterfly

I'm doing a block of the month. This is the 4th block. The theme is Oregon -- the state insect is the Swallowtail. Anyway, I just finished the block and now I will begin to think about the next block -- Crater Lake.

Ivan's Harley

This is the quilt I just completed. My brother loves motorcycles. It was his Christmas present, but he had to wait until February until he got it.

A quilt for Kade

This is what I do when the boys are playing. I'm almost finished with it. I still have a bit of the binding and a bit more quilting to go.

The boys at Eagle Watch 2008

Josh loves all animals. Boaz just loves to be with Josh. They had a fun day looking at the booths. They didn't see any wild eagles, but there are 10 or 12 nesting pair at the lake. There were some hawks and owls that they got to see up close.
