It took me a long time to brush out my hair after the crazy hair day. I had it all ratted up and sprayed it full of hair spray. Then I had painted it with white hair spray.
My brush was covered with white powder and my sink had hair littering it.
After I had brushed it all out, it was still stiff with spray and gunk.
A good shower, and I had my hair almost back to normal.
That night, I dreamed that my hair broke off and all I had was a buzz cut, except at the top which was a bad comb over kind of thing.
It was very disturbing.

First snow of the season
I have things to do today, but I don't want to go out. It is a cozy feeling to be inside when it is all white outside.
And I have the added anticipation of standing out in the snow for an hour and fifteen minutes at lunch time today. Not too happy about the lunch schedule at work today. :)

How did this happen?
My son went to his first stake dance yesterday.
He is only 12. They had a dance for the 12 - 13 year olds. His Scout Master -- a very good man -- said that they all had to go.
Driving him to the church to meet his ride, I told him that he had to dance with a girl if she asked him. He was not thrilled. Basically, he was not thrilled to go to the dance.
When he came home, he told us he danced with three girls. All of them asked him.
I told him she should ask all the girls to dance from the ward, but he didn't.
I am okay with him not being into girls yet. Seriously, I can wait for that to happen.
But my world rocked a bit when my boy went to his first dance.

Weird Dream
I woke up very frustrated today.
I dreamed that I was trying to kick a field goal. Not in an actual game, but a field goal non the less.
The problem was the field was crowded with members of my family. There were so many people on the field that I didn't have room to run and kick the ball.
And the holder of the football thingie wasn't working. The ball kept falling over. Writing this now, I realize that a field goal doesn't use that thingie, a kick off does, but who says that dreams are logical or follow the rules.
Anyway, I would finally get the ball to stand up in the stand thing, and I had no lane to run for the approach or kick.
I would clear a lane, and no more than a small lane, and the ball would fall off the stand.
When I woke up, I still had not kicked the stupid ball.
I told Craig and he just laughed at me. Then he told the boys for Family Home Evening we should all watch mama kick the football.
I don't think so.

Awesome weekend
The big event of the weekend, despite being General Conference, was Tim and Brenda's sealing and Karly being sealed to them after.
That was HUGE!
We were so excited!
Craig and I joined a lot of my family for a session in the SLC temple before the sealing. It was beautiful.
But the sealing was just simply wonderful.
Here are a few pictures of our friends and family. :)
We have a few changes of people -- we took turns being the photographers. :) Steve and Kelly Deming came from Oregon to share the day with us. The missionaries that taught Tim (and a mother of one said missionary) Jenn Harper (Brenda's friend from Springville High School) and familly, family, family.
Jaqulynne and Fred came, Uncle Gary and Aunt Renee, Kimberly.
A totally fabulous day. :)
A few more pictures at the temple doors.
The new forever family. :)
Knit together for time and eternity.
Long-time friends. Thanks Jenn for coming.
Somehow we missed getting Holly in this picture. She was off with her three very busy boys. :)
We don't look happy here at all. It is hard to get six women all on the same page apparently. :) Really, this picture cracks me up. Who would ever know this was a happy day?
Trying to get arranged nicely.
Now we are smiling - but we are all a bit fuzzy. Oh well. The day was fabulous, even if the pictures were a bit challenging. :)
The happy couple.
I love them.
Hard to decide on getting a good picture of the people or the temple. I thought I had both here, but missed the spires. Sorry Moroni.
I love this shot.
And this one too.
This is the quilt that I was madly sewing. Thank you to Debbie, who helped me bind the monster and have it ready to give to Brenda while she was in town. :)
The back. This quilt is the biggest I have ever done. It is about as wide as some, but certainly longer.
The label.
Ta daa! And below -- Pete being a good sport, and a ham, and modeling the two hour apron. :) The only picture I took of it.
