You know it's been a good day when . . .

I love pictures of sleeping kids. I know that Megan is a bit older than Josh and Boaz, but she had been going non-stop since the plane ride.

Anyway, it was a good day.

Low tide

I don't think I've been to the beach with the tide as low as it was. We were able to see star fish and mussels, I think. The waves breaking on the rocks was very cool. I love to see water and rocks and the spray and breakers.

Girls at the beach

It was a beautiful sunny day. But the wind was blowing and we were sand blasted. Josh was miserable because the driving sand hurt his legs. But we let Megan get as wet as she wanted to and she found many treasures.

Karly found a comfy rock and huddled. When Brenda saw the picture, she said that Karly looked like her, and I have to agree.

Mo's for lunch.

What is a trip to Oregon without visiting the beach. And, of course, you need to sample the local fare. Megan loved clam chower and shrimp skewers. Karly loved shrimp skewers -- she wasn't into the chower. The boys loved the hamburger and chicken baskets -- no sea food there. And I loved the CRAB!

Yummy!

Playing into the night

After a fun filled day at the park, we went to the drive-in and watched Kung Fo Panda. Funny movie, the boys loved it. Notice that Vincent is hiding under the blanket.

Auntie Brenda's old truck was awesome.

New Friends for Josh and Boaz

Josh and Boaz are modeling their new sweatshirts. I forgot to pack any and had to go shopping in Sisters. Craig would roll his eyes and say, yeah, had to shop in Sisters. Like you didn't plan on shopping in Sisters to begin with.

And I would have to agree that his point was valid. ;)

Josh and Mateo riding the scooter.

Mateo, Vincent and Christian. They played hard all day.

Megan visits Oregon

Megan came to visit Brenda and Karly and I decided to tag along. Her plane got in at 11:40 pm. That is just before midnight. It made for a very long day, but she clearly was excited and happy and enjoying the adventure. Her first plane ride. Yea for Megan.
