Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday school was canceled. Josh was happy for Thursday so he could go and get his project that he was working on for Christmas.
So they spent a lot of time outside playing in the snow. One of the worst storms in 40 years. We made sure they had plenty of layers and sent them out happy to stay inside ourselves.
When they came back in, Boaz would be drenched through 2 of his 4 layers, but happy and demanding hot chocolate. The hot chocolate being an essential part of the playing in the snow activity.
Very cold, but beautiful.

The snow may cripple the grown-up's world, but the kids are always soooooo happy!
My girls think hot chocolate is the best part of playing in the snow, too. And really . . . there aren't a lot of pleasures better than a mug of hot chocolate after you've been sledding!
