This came as a contrast to the thieves that kill and destroy. They that seek to take away.
Christ comes to add unto. Start with what we have and receive an increase.
This comes as part of his role as the good shepherd. As we follow Him we are led to the good pastures and the sweet waters of life.

Hmmm, I read 3 Nephi 24 this morning and had a very similar thought reading an entirely different scripture. I guess recognizing the abundance of God's blessings is a good message for both of us!
